Pamela Banks currently serves as the Healthy Families Gadsden/Leon Program Manager, a position she has held since the program’s inception in 1999. She is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations which includes project contract compliance, program analysis, internal quality assurance, staff supervision, training coordination, establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships, assurance of data entry and accuracy, completion of required reports and more. She is also qualified as a Field Instructor I, an on-site social worker, for both Florida State University and Florida A&M University.
Pamela previously held a variety of management, supervisory and direct service positions in various prevention programs with Brehon. She also served as a staff aide to Senator Bob Graham.
Pamela has spent her 25-year professional career in the maternal and infant/child health arena with a focus on the prevention of poor birth outcomes and child abuse and neglect. She received her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in social work from Florida State University, where she graduated with honors. She is married and has two daughters.
